8 wks - the miracle

There are people who think that embryos such as the vaguely human-shaped one on the left (head next to roundish yolk sac) are merely accumulation of cells with no status of being, but for us, it demonstrates the Miracle of Life, the gift of God bestowed upon us. This is an embryo which will very quickly become a foetus, whose senses and organs will start developing into a complete human baby. We just had the first glimpse of our child.

Its amazing. 2 weeks ago, there was nothing but a yolk sac, but now, the embryo has appeared, bigger than the yolk sac. Wondrous work of nature.

Yolk Sac - 6wks

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our personal breakthrough,
the stage we never got to during the last pregnancy, which
ended up with a blighted ovum.

This is the first time we are seeing a yolk sac (the smaller
circle with a black dot in the center) in the gestational
sac (the bigger black oval), which means the pregnancy
has taking its first step of being viable.
